Fibers of My Soul is excited to be a part of Fiber Christmas in 2022! They plan to have a variety
of fiber art pieces available in their booth, both decorative and functional. There will be needle
felted ornaments, flowers in handmade clay pots, and sculptural pieces. Wet felted items will
include wearable fiber art (scarves and purses), bookmarks, eyeglass cases, and Wet Felted
wool paintings.
From the Artist: “Fiber art is one of my happy places. I started out exploring crochet and
knitting and have absolutely fallen in love with felting, both needle and wet variations. I strive
to create unique fiber art pieces using high quality wool, silk, alpaca, and other natural
materials.  I draw my inspiration for many of my creations from nature, adding a touch of
whimsy here and there. I sincerely hope you enjoy my creations and that they bring you joy!”

HLA Fiber Mill is a full service mini mill.  Being fairly new, not even 3 years old, a variety of fibers have been processed, including alpaca (Huacaya and Suri), llama, bison, camel, pygora, mohair and an array of sheep wool (including long wools).  In addition to regular processing to cloud, batts, roving, and yarn, HLA also offers the processing of cotton cored rug yarn.  Yarns that are millspun or handspun, hand dyed yarns and rovings, rug yarn, crafting items such as peg looms, drip spindles and hand looms are all available at HLA Fiber Mill. HLA is always happy to save on those shipping costs by transporting your from event to the mill.

Scissor-Tail Yarn & Fiber Mill is located in historic downtown Norman, Oklahoma.  We process alpaca, sheep, llama, angora rabbit, mohair, and sometimes dog hair, into roving, batts, yarn, and finished products, like hats and fingerless mitts.  In an attempt to use all of the fiber we receive we also make and sell dryer balls, felted wildflower gardens and herb gardens from the less than desirable parts of the fleece.  We also have felted goats milk soaps.  We’re putting together some new yarns made in the Mill to have for ready your fibery delight as well as some hand dyed yarn.  We’re excited for our first year to have a booth at Fiber Christmas!
